Miki Historical Museum, Special Exhibition "Local Historical Documents 7 ～ History of Miki ～"
This exhibition commemorates the publication of "The History of Miki" and introduces the highlights of its contents in more detail.
The Miki district is a combination of Miki Town and Kurumi Village, which were merged in 1951 ）. Centered on Miki Town, the area developed as the castle town of Miki Castle from the Warring States Period, and even after the castle was abandoned at the beginning of the Edo Period, the town continued to exist, giving rise to a diverse culture and various industries, and leaving a rich scene in its festivals.
The recently published "History of Miki" examines the history and culture of the Miki area from various angles and describes its charms.
